Central Florida Trophy Hunts has over 20 years experience hunting alligators.  Our goal is to provide our clients with the best hunt available at an affordable price.  We hunt the areas located in Central Florida and we constantly scout these areas.  We feel this gives us a great advantage over other hunters and guides.  This, coupled with our close working relationship with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Alligator Management Program, allows us to put you on the biggest Gators possible.

We continued our 100% success rate in the 2007 season.  We harvested 94 alligators on the public waters hunt and continued to put our clients on some of the biggest gators harvested in three zones.

We offer a guided hunt in which we take those selected for the public waters hunt and guide them to successfully fill both of their tags.  We provide all of the necessary equipment to fill your tags.  Our fees begin at $700.00 per night and you can normally expect to fill your tags on the first night.  However, if you are looking to take two extremely large Gators, one night may not be sufficient, your hunt may take longer.  We specialize in hunting Upper St. Johns River Marsh, including, 540 (Upper St. Johns River Basin), 501 (Lake Helen Blazes), 502 (Lake Poinsett), 510 (Lake Jessup), and additionally hunt 547 (Guana River), 505 (Lake Harney), 504 (Puzzle Lake), 542 (Blue Cypress Water Mgt. Area), and 544 (Stick Marsh). 

We hunt the entire season, and therefore we book these hunts on a first-come, first-served basis.  We require a one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) non-refundable deposit at the time of booking and recommend you book as soon as possible.  All of our clients receive a written contract prior to booking.

We base our method of hunting on the particular zone assigned as well as the client’s preference.  Our inventory of watercraft for your hunt includes a 21 ft bay boat, and a 13 x 8 Airboat driven by a 300 horsepower aircraft motor.  We typically harpoon the Gators or take them with a crossbow, however, if there is a method in which you would like to try we will certainly try and accommodate you.    Upon completion of your hunt we can recommend several reputable processors and taxidermist.
