Central Florida Trophy Hunts has over 20 years experience hunting alligators. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best hunt available at an affordable price. We only hunt the areas located in Central Florida and we frequently scout these areas. We feel this gives us a great advantage over other hunters and guides and has allowed us to continue our 100% success rate. This, coupled with our close working relationship with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Alligator Management Program, allows us to put you on the biggest Gators possible.

We offer a guided hunt in which we take those selected for the public waters hunts and guide them to successfully fill both of their tags. We provide all of the necessary equipment to fill your tags. Our fees begin at $600.00 per night and you can normally expect to fill your tags on the first night. However, if you are looking to take two extremely large Gators, one night may not be sufficient, your hunt may take longer. In the past years we have killed some of the largest alligators taken on 540 (Upper St. Johns River Basin), 544 (Stick Marsh), 501 (Lake Helen Blazes), 502 (Lake Poinsett), and 510 (Lake Jessup).

Included in your hunt is all necessary equipment, drinks, snacks, licensed USCG Captain. One observer/hunter may come with no charge.

We hunt the entire season, and therefore we book these hunts on a first-come, first-served basis. We require a one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) non-refundable deposit at the time of booking and recommend you book as soon as possible.

We base our method of hunting on the particular zone assigned as well as the client's preference. Our inventory of watercraft for your hunt includes a 21 ft bay boat, and a 13 x 8 Airboat driven by a 300 horsepower aircraft motor. We typically harpoon the Gators or take them with a crossbow; however, if there is a method in which you would like to try we will certainly try and accommodate you. Upon completion of your hunt we can recommend several reputable processors and taxidermist.
